Alexander Richter is a Senior Economic Policy Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He joined the Dallas Fed in 2016, after spending four years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Auburn University. He received his PhD from Indiana University in 2012. His work has appeared in a wide range of academic journals, including Econometrica, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Review of Economic Dynamics, Quantitative Economics, and the Economic Journal. His research interests include monetary policy, fiscal policy, macro-labor, Bayesian econometrics, and computational economics.
