Ana Cecilia Fieler

Ana Cecilia Fieler is a lecturer and co-director of the master’s program at Yale University. She previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania and has held visiting positions at Princeton University and CEMFI, Madrid, and holds a PhD from New York University. Her research is in international trade with a focus on developing countries. It highlights how these countries’ patterns of trade differ from rich countries, and how trade with rich countries affect developing countries’ technologies and labor markets, directly and through domestic production networks. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Econometrica, the American Economic Review and the Journal of Political Economy.
