Avinash Dixit is Emeritus Professor of Economics at Princeton University. He was educated at Bombay, Cambridge and MIT. His books include Thinking Strategically and Investment Under Uncertainty; he has also written several well-known research papers. He is past President of the American Economic Association, member of the US National Academy of Sciences, and recipient of India’s Padma Vibhushan Award.
