Björn Brey is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He previously held positions as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford, Nuffield College and Unviersite Libre Bruxelles. He obtained his PhD at the University of Nottingham in 2021.
His research examines questions on technology adoption and de-globalization. Particularly, his focus is on understanding their interconnectedness with political developments. He frequently utilizes newly collected historical data allied with modern econometric techniques to answer these questions of great importance today.
