Byeongwoo Kang

Byeongwoo Kang is an associate professor at the Institute of Innovation Research and the Graduate School of Business Administration, Hitotsubashi University. Prior to his current position, he was a research fellow at the Institute of Developing Economies – Japan External Trade Organization. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2014. His research interest is in economic and statistical analysis of innovation including science and technology strategy analysis and relevant policy analysis. His articles have been published in many journals including Research Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and China Economic Review. He has received a Young Scholars Award 2018 from the International Schumpeter Society.
