Chirantan Chatterjee is an economist with research interests in the economics of innovation, applied microeconomics, and global healthcare markets. He is currently a Visiting Fellow and formerly a National Fellow in residence at Hoover Institution, Stanford University apart from being an Associate Professor in Economics & Strategy, also ICICI Bank Chair and Chairperson of the Center for Management of Health Services, at IIM Ahmedabad. He has been published in top peer-reviewed journals like the RAND Journal of Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of Law & Economics, Research Policy, Production and Operations Management, the Journal of Business Ethics, Social Science & Medicine, Health Policy and Planning, Harvard Business Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement. Chatterjee holds a Ph.D. and MPhil in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a BTech in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee, and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
