Daniel Auer

Daniel Auer is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Bern, CH and the University of Mannheim’s Center for European Social Research, DE. He holds a PhD. From the University of Lausanne and has studied Political Science and Economics in Vienna, Urbana-Champaign, and Zurich. He has also been senior researcher at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and visiting researcher in Malmoe and Oxford. Daniel works on discrimination- and policy-driven mechanisms that affect political participation and socio-economic integration. He also studies policy effects in the context of international migration and investigates individual drivers of migration.
