Duong Trung Le

Economist at The World Bank

Duong Le is an Economist at the World Bank’s Chief Economist Office for the East Asia & Pacific region, based in Washington D.C. His research interests are in the field of development economics with a focus on firm behavior and labor markets in developing countries. Duong’s studies have examined the impacts of several mega-drivers of global development such as climate and environmental changes, institutional quality, and technological advancement. Before joining the World Bank, Duong was a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University. Duong holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
