Esther Mbih is a post-doctoral researcher at Turku School of Economics, and she is affiliated with INVEST-hub and the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST).
Public employment services in developed countries typically implement jobseeker assistance policies. Knowledge of how individuals respond to these interventions remains limited, however. Her research focuses on interventions based on the provision of information to labour market agents, to understand how they respond to information flows within the labour market and how it affects their labour market outcomes.
She received a PhD in Economics from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique Paris (ENSAE), and a Master’s degree in Economics from the Paris School of Economics (joint with Université Paris 1, Sorbonne).
