Francesco Di Comite is currently part of the Chief Economist team of European Commission's DG GROW. He joined the European institutions in 2011 and ha been involved in the work of Commission's DG ECFIN, JRC, GROW and Council's support for ECOFIN, COMPET.
Francesco’s main research interests include international trade, industrial organisation, location theory and their applications in the area of external competitiveness measurement, urban economics and regional development. He was awarded his undergraduate degree from Bocconi University, Milan, and his Master and PhD in Economics from UCLouvain.
