Gian Maria Campedelli is a Research Scientist in the Mobile and Social Computing Lab at Fondazione Bruno Kessler. In 2020, he obtained a PhD in Criminology from Catholic University. During his doctorate, he worked as a researcher at Transcrime and as a visiting research scholar at the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. From 2020 to 2023 he was a postdoc at the University of Trento. His research focuses on computational methods for the study of criminal phenomena, including organized crime, homicide and terrorism.
