Jakree Koosakul

Economist at International Monetary Fund

Jakree Koosakul is an Economist in the European Department of the International Monetary Fund. His research interests are in the areas of international macroeconomics and finance, market microstructure, banking regulations, and fiscal-monetary interactions. Prior to joining the IMF, Jakree worked as an Economist at the Bank for International Settlements in 2016, and as a Senior Analyst at the Bank of Thailand between 2013 and 2017. He holds a PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an MSc in Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science.
