Jesse Matheson is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Sheffield and has previously taught at the Universities of Leicester and the Universities of Calgary. Jesse works on topics in public, labour and health economics. His previous work considers the effectiveness of policy interventions that target vulnerable populations. This includes a large randomised field study of a domestic violence intervention. His recent work focuses on the implications of remote working for the spatial organization of economic activity.
