Jingting Fan is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on international trade. One strand of his work studies within-country spatial frictions and their interactions with various types of shocks, such as the emergence of e-commerce and international trade liberalization. The other strand of his work studies the impact of multinational corporations on the income of nations.
