Johannes Haushofer is Goh Keng Swee Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore, and Professor of Economics (part-time) at Stockholm University. His research interests lie in development economics and behavioral economics.
He is the founder of Busara, a non-profit that advances and applies behavioral science in pursuit of poverty alleviation; and Malengo, an organization that facilitates international migration. He holds a BA in Psychology, Physiology and Philosophy from Oxford, a PhD in Neurobiology from Harvard, and a PhD in Economics from Zurich.
