Jonas Schlegel is a Financial Economist at the Policy Center of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, where he is responsible for the areas of financial markets, banking regulation, and macro finance. He regularly co-authors policy papers commissioned by the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON). He previously worked as a financial market analyst for a development bank and holds a PhD from LMU Munich.
