Jongrim Ha

Senior Economist at The World Bank

Jongrim Ha is a Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Prospects Group. His main fields of specialization are open-economy macroeconomics, international finance, monetary economics, and time-series econometrics. He published a book and many academic journal articles on inflation, monetary policy challenges in small open economies, global macro-financial linkages, and global economic confidence and uncertainty. Before joining the World Bank, he served as an economist at the Bank of Korea, in positions in the Research Department, Financial Stability Department, and the Secretariat to the Governor of the Bank. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University and B.A. in economics from Seoul National University.
