Julien Martin

Julien MARTIN is a Professor in the Department of Economics of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), holder of the UQAM research chair on the local impact of global firms, and a research affiliate at CEPR. Before joining UQAM in 2013, he spent two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Université Catholique de Louvain. He received his Ph.D. in economics at the Paris School of Economics in 2011, and was a Research Scholar in the macoeconomic department of the CREST. His research focuses on international trade and international macroeconomics, with a special interest in the behavior of firms engaged in international activities and their macroeconomic implications.
