Karen Helene Ulltveit-Moe is Professor of International economics at the University of Oslo and Research Fellow of CEPR. Her research interests include international trade and the impact of trade liberalization on firm performance, firms' reponses to globalisation, production networks, innovation and productivity. She has been a Member of the Executive Board of the Norwegian Central Bank (Norges Bank). She has also worked as Consultant for the European Commission and served as Adviser to the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Norwegian Ministry of Finance. She has been a member and Chairman of several government-appointed public commissions as well as member of the Board of directors of Norwegian multinational corporations. She did her PhD in economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and London School of Economics with Jan I. Haaland, Victor D. Norman and Anthony Venables.
