Kilian Rieder is a principal economist in the Economic Analysis and Research Department of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB, Eurosystem) and a visiting assistant professor of economics at Northwestern University. Kilian earned his Ph.D. in May 2018 from Oxford University, after completing Master degrees at LSE and Sciences Po Paris. He is currently an affiliate of the CEPR economic history programme. His research interests are in applied macroeconomics and economic history.
