Kirsten Wandschneider holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Vienna, where she teaches courses on economic history, macroeconomics, and international economics.
Her research interests focus on the history and development of financial institutions. Her work has been published in international journals, such as the Economic Journal, the Journal of International Economics, the Journal of Economic History, and Cliometrica.
