Konrad Burchardi is Professor of Economics at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) in Stockholm, an affiliate of BREAD and a fellow of CEPR and CESifo. He obtained a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2011. His research focusses on agricultural productivity in developing countries, the economic effects of social structure and the role of market integration in economic development.
