Laura Salisbury is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at York University. She received a PhD in Economics from Boston University in 2013. Her research interests include economic history and labor economics. More specifically, her research focuses on historical marriage markets, married women's property laws, income mobility, and the characteristics and consequences of historical income support programs.
