Linda Yueh is Fellow in Economics at St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, and Adjunct Professor of Economics at London Business School. She was Visiting Professor at the LSE's IDEAS research centre and Visiting Professor of Economics at Peking University. Dr. Yueh is a member of the Policy Committee of the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) and member of the Advisory Board at LSE IDEAS, both at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She was a member of the UK Treasury’s Independent Review Panel on Ring-Fencing and Proprietary Trading and an adviser to the UK Board of Trade. She is the Editor of the Economic Growth and Development book series at Routledge. Her recent books are: The Great Crashes: Lessons from Global Meltdowns and How to Prevent Them and The Great Economists: How Their Ideas Can Help Us Today (US edition: What Would the Great Economists Do? How Twelve Brilliant Minds Would Solve Today's Biggest Problems). She is also a broadcaster, including for the BBC. She was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for Services to Economics in the 2023 New Year Honours.
