Martin Stuermer is an Economist in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund. He is also adjunct lecturer in Department of Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research interests are macroeconomics with a focus on energy, commodities, and natural resources. He holds a PhD economics from the University of Bonn and worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2014 to 2021.
