Mauricio Hitschfeld

Mauricio Hitschfeld works as a Statistician in the OECD Economics Department, focusing on macroeconomic research and data analysis. He previously worked at the Central Bank of Chile, where he specialised in international economic and financial market analysis. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from the Universidad de Chile. Mauricio has also contributed to several OECD and Central Bank of Chile working papers, and his main interests are in econometrics and empirical economics.
