Michael Plante is a Principal Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He received his PhD in economics from Indiana University in August 2009. Before joining the Dallas Fed in 2010, he was an Assistant Professor at Ball State University. His academic research interests include macroeconomics, time series econometrics and energy economics. His work has been published in journals such as the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Energy Journal, and the Review of Economic Dynamics.
