Michaela Elfsbacka-Schmöller

Michaela Elfsbacka-Schmöller is a Senior Research Economist at the Directorate General Research of the European Central Bank and the Bank of Finland’s Research Unit (currently on leave). She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Helsinki GSE/Aalto University. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Minnesota, CREI, and the Bundesbank Research Center. Her research interests include monetary economics, fiscal policy, productivity, and growth.
