Miguel Boucinha is Head of the Money, Credit and Financial Accounts Section in the Directorate General Monetary Policy of the ECB. Prior to joining the ECB, he worked at the Economics and Research and Financial Stability Departments of Banco de Portugal. He holds a Ph.D. from Nova SBE. His research interests cover monetary policy and empirical banking.
