Neil Shenai

Neil Shenai is Assistant to the Director of the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review department. His research interests include fiscal-monetary interactions, sovereign debt restructuring, and exchange rate policy. Prior to joining the IMF, he served in various roles at the United States Treasury Department, including Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary and Financial Attaché to Mexico and Central America. He holds a PhD from Johns Hopkins University.
