Oyebola Okunogbe is an Economist in the World Bank Development Research Group, working in the intersection of development economics, public finance and political economy. She is also an International Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
Her research examines key aspects of the relationship between the state and citizens, and implications for economic development in low- and middle-income countries. She has studied topics in taxation, public service delivery and nation building. She received her BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, MPA in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School and PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University.
