Pablo Martinelli is Associate Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). His research focuses on historical economics and development. He is particularly interested in the process of economic development and its relationship with agrarian institutions, several forms of inequality, and the interplay between economics and politics, as well as in European Interwar Economic History. He received his PhD in 2012 at the European University Institute (EUI) of Florence. Since October 2012 he has worked at UC3M, where he teaches several courses on Economic History and Development.
