Paolo Pasimeni

Paolo Pasimeni is Deputy Chief Economist at the European Commission, DG Internal Market and Industry, and Senior Associate Researcher at the Brussels School of Governance of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Specialised in international macroeconomics, his main field of expertise is the macroeconomic analysis of the Single Market and of the economic and monetary union (EMU). Expert on monetary, fiscal and structural policies, he has been working on the proposals for EMU reform, in particular on the design of a stabilisation capacity.
