Peter Bednarek works as an Economist for Deutsche Bundesbank in the Financial Stability Department. Before joining Deutsche Bundesbank he studied Economics at the University of Bonn and was a PhD student at the University of Osnabrueck at the Department of Macroeconomics.
His research and policy work has focused especially on issues of financial stability, bank lending, credit risk-taking, financial crises and transmission of financial shocks, real effects, interbank market and relationship lending. His work has been published in Review of Financial Studies and Journal of Banking and Finance.
