Prakash Mishra is a PhD Candidate in Applied Economics at the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania. His research uses methods from trade and industrial organization to study the economics of deforestation and land use. His recent work studies classic pollution markets applied to deforestation and dynamics of land protection across countries. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
