Sascha Steffen is a Professor and the DWS Senior Chair in Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He is an expert in banks, debt capital markets, corporate finance, and the use of artificial intelligence in finance. His work has been published in major academic journals and received numerous prizes and awards. His research has also been featured in a variety of public media, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Sascha is the founder and academic director of the Centre for European Transformation to foster a robust financial framework that anticipates, adapts, and innovatively responds to the Europe’s dynamic transformation. He brings together academic researchers and practitioners to advance and promote research and teaching on private capital markets as well as the role of AI in shaping the future financial landscape. He teaches corporate finance and debt capital markets at the master's, PhD and the executive level. Sascha is involved in educating business leaders on raising capital, debt markets, private debt and equity, AI in finance and financing transformation. He frequently leads executive workshops and gives keynote speeches on these topics. He also has been consulting global companies and investors. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation matters.
