I am a Professor of Economics at Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, and at Bilkent University, Turkey.  I am a member of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Board of Directors as Education sector co-chair, and HPI co-chair. I am also a research fellow at CEPR.  My research interests include education, migrant integration, gender and household behavior.
