Yigit Atilgan is a Professor of Finance at Sabanci Business School in Istanbul. He earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from University of Rochester and City University of New York in 2005 and 2010, respectively. His research focuses on equity returns, investment risk, funds, behavioral finance, and asset pricing in emerging markets. His work has been awarded by the Science Academy and Turkish Academy of Science. He is also a CFA charterholder since 2015 and serves as the director of Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) since 2018.
