Yvonne Giesing is a PostDoc at the ifo Institute in Munich. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Munich and is a research affiliate of CESifo, IZA, J-PAL and a member of the junior faculty at the University of Munich. Her main research interests are migration, labour economics and development economics. She is particularly interested in the causes and consequences of migration and the integration of immigrants, especially the labour market integration of refugees.
