Alessio Terzi

Economist at European Commission, Adjunct Professor in Economics, Lecturer in Public Policy at University Of Cambridge

Alessio Terzi is an Economist at DG ECFIN, where he works on competitiveness, industrial policy, and the macroeconomics of the European Green Deal. He is a Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Cambridge, an Adjunct Professor in Economics at Sciences Po, and an Affiliated Researcher at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. Previously, he was Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel, and Fulbright Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is the author of Growth for Good (Harvard University Press): a Foreign Affairs Best Book of the Year, and a Financial Times summer reading favourite. He also has work experience from the European Central Bank. Alessio obtained a PhD from the Hertie School with a thesis on economic growth, holds an MPA in economic policy from the LSE, and a BSc in international economics from Bocconi University.
