Lead Financial Sector Specialist at The World Bank

Cédric Mousset has been a lead financial sector specialist in the World Bank MENA Vice-Presidency since September 2024. Prior to joining MENA, he worked in the global financial stability unit over 2017-2024 where he was the Financial Stability Board (FSB) coordinator for the World Bank, led Financial sector assessment programs (FSAPs), led crisis responses in countries affected by sovereign stress and delivered advisory services. He was earlier a lead financial sector specialist in the Africa region (2012-2017), senior financial sector specialist in the MENA region (2009-2012) and senior financial sector specialist in the financial systems unit (2005-2009). Cédric Mousset worked for the Banque de France until 2005 in its on- and off-site banking supervision departments.
