Roberto Tubaldi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School, where he has been a faculty member since 2021. His research focuses on corporate finance and asset management, including production networks, learning from stock prices, strategic trading, and fire sales. Roberto examined how idiosyncratic shocks to stock prices—such as those caused by natural disasters—impact corporate financial decisions. Roberto’s research also investigates the strategic behavior of asset managers and its effect on market efficiency and price formation. His recent work explores the ripple effects of supply chain disruptions on industrial organization and competitiveness.
Roberto earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute and USI Lugano, and he was a visiting doctoral fellow at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
